Weekend Warrior!

We are pleased to invite you to our unique and exclusive Weekend Warrior course this coming August 11th & 12th. The course is open to all regardless of style,  affiliation  or experience and we welcome beginners and black belts alike! See timetable below for a fantastic weekend of Martial Arts.


                                               Saturday 11th;
9.30am. Arrive and register.

Tea, coffee and snacks on us as we welcome you to Fight Fortress and you meet your fellow Warriors.

10am; Battle Fit.

No matter what your level of fitness, everyone will benefit from this challenging 45 minute fitness session to get the endorphins going. All drills are combat based to compliment your current training.

11am; Power Striking.

This hour long session will help you develop the three techniques you need to make your own. Simon will talk about how mental jam can affect your self defence if you concentrate on too many techniques at any one time. You will be encouraged to try several options and settle on the ones that bring YOU the best result.

12.30pm; Fear Control.

After a 30 minute lunch break (tea/coffee provided but please bring your own food) Simon will talk on the realities of fear, how we overcome it and the affect it has on us.

This session will include practical drills with participants encouraged to feel fear and overcome it.

2.30pm; Wrestling, Grappling and Floor Defence.

To finish off the day we will be covering Grappling in all its forms, specifically those designed for Self Defence as opposed to sport. The level taught will range from beginner to experienced so there will be something for everyone.

The day will finish at 4pm when you are free to explore beautiful North Wales, from the night life to the mountains and beaches.

                                                          Sunday 12th August.
9.30am; Morning Tea and Coffee.

Start the day of right with a quick good morning, hot drinks and fresh orange juice (on us) before another full day of combat.

10am; Battle Fit.

We will once again wake you up with a nice warm up, visiting Battle Fit again but with different drills to day one.

11am; Krav Maga Unarmed Combat.

Dubbed ‘the world’s most effective form of Self Defence’ by The Times and the official combat system for the Israeli Special Forces, Krav Maga Black Belt Simon Morrell will  run you through drills that will include Control & Restraint, Escape & Evade and Third Party Protection.

1pm; Weapons Defence.

After a 30 minute lunch break we will resume with Knife/Gun disarms and the do’s and don’ts of training in such a specialised system. Drawing from 37 years experience in both dojo and real life in which Simon has faced some extremely dangerous situations, he will talk you through how he dealt with them and teach some very practical tactics.

3pm; Final Session.

As the weekend draws to a close, we promise a very interesting surprise to bring us to a close. The final session will push you to where you need to be but after a the weekend that yu have just undergone, you will be more than capable of the last 45 minute.
