Having read a lot of Cormac McCarthy I wanted to change my own style of writing and see how it works. An American Bar is a contemporary piece based on two young men from Britain visiting America for the first time and discovering a bar in a small mid-western town.
The grammar, style and spelling were all intentional to set the mood.
