ONE PUNCH KILL & MARTIAL ARTS

The importance of Martial Arts & the One Punch Kill film.

Please read on.

In the last five years, in the U.K. alone, 82 deaths have occurred by just one punch. One fatally delivered blow. The actual punch itself brings some about, many more by the fact the victim is unconscious before he hits the floor, rendering him helpless to break his fall, the inevitable cruel concrete delivering the fatal blow.

Are these final acts justified? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. One Punch Kill explores why these travesties occur and in particular, this one. Why was Jonah to play a part in this brutal execution?

One Punch Kill examines the importance and validity of a father/son relationship, toxic masculinity, siblings, family, friendships, hatred and above all, consequences.

As Self Defence instructors we need to educate our students on the difference between legally protecting ourselves and an unlawful killing, whatever form that may take.

The short film One Punch Kill is just the start of bringing together this important social message. Plans are already being made to develop the short into a feature film in 2026 alongside Simon’s other feature-length script, Being Bullied.

You can be a part of this important journey. For just £60 your name and Martial Arts Academy will feature in the credits of One Punch Kill, bringing awareness to your own brand. We plan to submit the film to festivals all over the world (including Cannes), so your recognition has the chance to go global.

You will also, if you require, be given first consideration for parts such as extras, stuntmen and supporting roles in the potential feature film.
