ONE PUNCH KILL, FILMING IN RHYL!

"One Punch Kill is a work of fiction with its background in actual events. As a writer and self-defence instructor, I was both fascinated and saddened to read the figures concerning men killed by a single punch, usually in drink-related incidents, in the U.K. over the last few years.

Often the fatality is caused by the victim being unconscious before they hit the pavement, meaning they are unable to break their fall. However, it is also the case that the death is caused by the actual punch itself.

In One Punch Kill, a gentle youth suffers from his father’s toxic masculinity and his efforts to address matters have devastating and life-changing consequences that will affect his family and a whole town."

We have now secured a producer for Simon's short film One Punch Kill, to be filmed in Rhyl in the summer of 2025.

Pete Collins has come on board as the producer and we have talks with a prominent director next week. The potential cast are now ready for auditions.

At some point, we will be looking for local talent to join us on this exciting journey. This may be extras, crew, runners etc, so please stay tuned here if you are interested in this project.
